Signing up here is a request for a game, not an assignment.
The league confirms each crew. Under Alsip's bylaws, umpires are appointed by the President or Umpire in Chief with the approval of the Board.
A background check and a signed acknowledgment of the league's safety policy are required before anyone works a game.
Do not travel to a game until your slot shows as confirmed.
Once someone has signed up for a game, nobody else can take it from the page. If a game needs to change hands, contact the Umpire in Chief.
We identify you by your phone number, so use the same one each time. We cannot verify it, which is why you can only edit or release your own entry and never someone else's.

One umpire for 8u, 11u and 14u, two for 16u and 18u. That is the league's operating default for this season, not an adopted policy.
Game length, time limit and run rule: CSYBA rules govern fall ball. Not yet on file at the league.
Whether Little League pitch-count rules apply to CSYBA play: not decided.
Who supplies the plate gear and where it is stored at each field: not set.
Game fee and how it is paid: not set for fall.

Games come from the CSYBA published team schedules for Alsip's five entered teams. That scrape is unofficial. Re-check the posted schedule before each weekend, because CSYBA can move games.
Umpire counts follow the June 13 Board Record, which raised only the high school fee because high school fall ball uses two umpires per game.
Who makes the rain-out call is not settled on the league record and has not been guessed here.
